In what could be described as the most challenging year in my memory, Finyx has continued to grow and cemented its position as a trusted partner for all of our existing, and a number of new, clients.

The changes we put in place during 2021 to strengthen our executive, management team, skilled resources and our focus on capability development have enabled us to service the developing and transformative needs of our clients.

Against strong and consistent client demand, controlled growth has been at the core of our success.

We have grown our headcount year on year by over 30%. Included in this we have more than doubled our permanent staff complement at all levels of seniority and capability.

Phil Stewart has established a new senior leadership team with some new faces supplementing our existing seniors. We have a range of skilled and experience people with applied knowledge and diverse backgrounds guiding the firm forward.

We have consolidated our capability offerings and built out services in new lines including Technology Business Management and Cyber security.

We have expanded our offices in York to accommodate the increase in staff numbers – we continue to operate from the Science Park at York University. We have established a capability, recruited skilled and experience staff and established a physical office location in Northern Ireland.

This has enabled us to increase our revenue by 35% Year on Year to end March 21 and we forecast  a further increase of around 20% to end of March 22.

Our core intent is to make our clients more successful.

The focus and enthusiasm of our people to achieve this has been the thing that has been most satisfying to me. The culture we have built is being developed and improved by the quality of hires we have made this year and we look forward to continuing in this vein next year.

As we look forward to 2022, expect to see a message over the next few days from Phil Stewart – our CEO – who will outline our targets and aspirations for how we intend to assist our clients in what will inevitably be another challenging year.
