A consultant and senior IT professional with 25 years experience, principally in IT infrastructure project and programme management, Alister has managed a variety of major change initiatives including outsourcing, insourcing, data centre consolidation and cost optimisation. Before consulting, Alister was CIO with a medium size firm and before that held various applications development roles. He has managed teams of up to 130 people and has had direct responsibility for budgets of up to $35m.
